Hosting a Wealthy Wilma meeting is easy.
And you certainly do not have to be an expert- actually its better if you're not. All you have to do is agree to host- email me the whereabouts, print off the Discussion Guide (that I'll email you), have glasses available for Wilma’s to pour their own liquids into, and put out a bag of chips. Done! Read on for more details.
Who Hosts?
Part of being a Wealthy Wilma is that at some point it will be your turn to host a Wealthy Wilma Gathering. It’s the best part of this book club! You can host at your home, at someone else's home, at a coffee shop, or even in a park or at the beach (weather pending).
How?
I will email you the Discussion Guide for the book before the meeting date. You'll need to read it over once before the meeting.
To-Do at the Meeting?
You'll read from the Discussion Guide (that I provide) and the Wilmas will all discuss the points- just like a gab-session. You'll need to assign a "Wilma Writer" someone who, while you ask questions- they record the answers. The Wilma Writer will then need to email me your learnings after your meeting. I, in turn, will share them with all the Wilmas. This means that all Wealthy Wilmas will get the learnings from EVERY Meeting. Tres cool, no?
Required to host:
- A place to host- you pick.
- I’ll send out pingg.com invites- so you can keep track of RSVPs.
- Print out the discussion guide for that book - I'll email it to you.
- Practice; read out loud what it says, so you're prepared before the meeting.
- Have wine glasses or recycled plastic cups for folks to pour their wine or water into, and put some veggies out on a plate- or even a bag a chips in a bowl. There is no need to get fancy.
- Take a picture of your Wealthy Wilma meeting (pretty please) - and send it to me.
- Have boat loads of fun!
- Email me that same week with your learnings, by the Friday if possible.
That's it. The most important part of hosting is to be a welcoming Wilma; providing an environment for the financially shy.
